Built in 2001, by the Hansen Boat Company of Marysville, Washington (hull# 121-1) as the Phyllis Dunlap for the Dunlap Towing Company of La Conner, Washington.
Powered by two, six cylinder, Caterpillar 3606 DITA diesel engines. Turning two, three-bladed, cast steel propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 5,100 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, Caterpillar 105kW generator sets. The tug's capacites are 153,000 gallons of fuel, 24,039 gallons of water, and 15,586 gallons of ballast.
The towing gear consists of a double drum winch. Outfitted with 2,400(ft) of 2.25(in) wire on the stern. With a Markey Line Handler winch, outfitted with 500(ft) of 5(in) of soft line mounted on the bow.
