Built in 1951, by Jakobson Shipyard Incorporated of Oyster Bay, New York (hull #204) as the Eugene F. Moran for the Moran Towing Company of New York, New York.

In 2002, the tug went out of documentation. And, was scrapped. She was a single screw tug, rated at 1,500 horsepower.
