In 2015, the tug was acquired by Mohawk Northeast Incorporated of Plantsville, Connecticut. Where the tug was renamed as the Michael.
Powered by two Catepillar 3508 diesel engines. With two ZFW4400 reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.542:1 Turning two, four bladed, stainless steel, fixed pitch, propellers. For a rated 2,100 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two 40kW Isuzu generator sets. The tug's capacities are 28,684 gallons of fuel, 448 gallons of lube oil, 3,538 gallons of fresh water, 661gallons of sewage, and 661 gallons of dirty oil. The tug's hull is outfitted with submarine fendering.
In 2016, the tug was outfitted with a JonRie Series 515 towing winch. Outfitted with 1,700(ft) of 1.5(in) towing wire. The winch also features an independent drive gypsy head, independent drive level wind, and JonRie's new 24 VDC abort system.
