Built in 1967, by Jakobson Shipyard Incorporated of Oyster Bay, New York (hull #431) as the Grace Moran for the Moran Towing Corporation of New York, New York.

In 2017, the tug was removed from active service.

She was powered by a single, sixteen cylinder, EMD diesel engine. Turning a single, bronze, fixed pitch, propeller. She is a single screw tug, rated at 2,875 horsepower.

Her electrical service was provided by a 60kW generator set, and a 40kW generator set. The tug's capacities were 46,230 gallons of fuel.
