GILLEN BROTHERS

Built in 1969, by Jakobson Shipyard Incorporated of Oyster Bay, New York (hull #438) as the Gillen Brothers for the Henry Gillen's Sons Lighterage Company of New York, New York.

In 1976, the tug was acquired by for Texaco Marine Incorporated of Beaumont, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Texaco Marfak II. And, later fitted with an upper wheelhouse.

In 1983, she was acquired by Hays Tug and Launch Company of Wallingford, Pennsylvania. Where the tug was renamed as the High Roller.

Powered by two, sixteen cylinder Caterpillar D399 diesel engines. With Lufkin reduction gears. For a rated 2,200 horsepower.
