Built in 1995, by Nichols Brothers Boatbuilders Incorporated of Freeland, Washington (hull #111) as the Escort Eagle for the Dahl Tug and Barge Company Incorporated of Seattle, Washington.

In 1996, the tug was chartered out. Where she was renamed the tug as the Eddie C.

In 2000, she was returned to the Dahl Tug and Barge Company Incorporated of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug was renamed as the Escort Eagle.

In 2003, the tug was chartered to the Foss Maritime Company of Tacoma, Washington. Where she was renamed as the Pacific Spirit.

In 2009, she was returned to the Dahl Tug and Barge Company of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug was renamed as the Escort Eagle.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Amak Towing Company of Ketchikan, Alaska. Where she was renamed as the Brian T.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines. With Aquamaster 1701/3000 z-drives. For a rated 4,400 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 90kW generator sets, driven by two, Caterpillar 3304B diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 110,000 gallons of fuel, 1,928 gallons of lube oil, 2,000 gallons of hydraulic oil, and 13,400 gallons of water.

The towing equipment consists of a Nordic towing winch, mounted on her bow. Outfitted with 600(ft) of 10(in) spectra line. A double drum towing winch, outfitted with 2,400(ft) of 2(in) towing wire on each drum. A three pin hydraulic towing pin system, with hold down. And, a North American deck crane. As well as a fire pump feeding two, Skum MK-150 deck mounted fire monitors. Driven by a GM12v71 diesel engine.
