Built in 2002, by Bollinger Shipyard Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana (hull #410) as the Savannah for the Crescent Towing and Salvage Company Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines. With Ulstein 1650H z-drives, outfitted with Nibral fixed pitch propellers. For a rated 4,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 90kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 51,460 gallons of fuel, 578 gallons of lube oil, 14,645 gallons of ballast, and 4,955 gallons of freshwater

The towing equipment consists of a double drum, Coastal Marine Equipment, escort winch mounted on the bow. And, a Coastal Marine Equipment capstan mounted on the stern.
