Built in 2005, by Washburn and Doughty Associates of East Boothbay, Maine (hull #85) as the Bulldog for the Crescent Towing and Salvage Company Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Powered by two, medium speed, General Electric 7FDM12 diesel engines. With Rolls Royce US255, z-drives. Outfitted with 2,800(mm), four bladed, stainless steel propellers. For a rated 6,700 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, Tier II compliant, 99kW John Deere 6068TFMGK generator sets.

The towing equipment consists of a 100 horsepower, Markey DESF-48, electric escort winch. Outfitted with 750(ft) of 9(in) synthetic line. With a 5 horsepower, Markey CEP-40, electric messenger capstan. And a 15 horsepower, Markey CEWC-60 electric stern hawser capstan mounted on her stern.

The tug's firefighting capabilities are driven by two, 900 horsepower, Caterpillar 3412C diesel engines
Driving two, Nijhuis HGTFI-1-250.500 firefighting pumps. Feeding two, remote controlled, FiFi monitors mounted on the aft upper deck, producing 5,280 Gallons Per Minute. As well as a deluge system. The tug's monitors can be remotely operated from the pilothouse.
