Built in 1975, by Astilleros Del Atlantico of Santander, Spain as the El Leon Grande II Tidewater Marine Services Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana.
In 2009, the tug was dropped from documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown.
She was powered by two, sixteen cylinder, Nohab SF 216 V-D825 diesel engines. Turning two, bronze, fixed pitch propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated 7,040 horsepower.
Her electrical service was provided by two, 125kW generator sets. The tug's capacities were 198,657 gallons of fuel.
