Built in 2007, by John Bludworth Shipyard Incorporated of Corpus Christi, Texas (hull #117) as the Signet Columbia for the Signet Maritime Corporation of Houston, Texas.

Powered by two, Cummins KTA-19M3 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG-5170DC reduction gears. Turning two, 66(in) by 50(in) four bladed, stainless steel, fixed pitch, Aqualloy propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,280 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two 40kW generator sets. Driven by two, Cummins 4BTA3.9 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 21,867 gallons of fuel, 5,000 gallons of water, 100 gallons of lube oil, 100 gallons of gear oil, and 40 gallons of hydraulic oil.

The deck equipment includes two, Patterson WWP40E face winches. Outfitted with 130(ft) of 1.5(in) Samson Amsteel Blue HMPE hawser.
