In 1967, the founders of Sabine Transportation Company merged with the with the Chromalloy American Corporation of St. Louis, Missouri. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1980, the Chromalloy American Corporation was acquired by the Sequa Corporation of New York. Where the tug retained her name.
In 1992, the former assets of the Sabine Transportation Company where acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2021, the tug was acquired by IntraTug (the Intracoastal Tug and Barge Company) of Maurice, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Intra Recoil.
In 2021, IntraTug (the Intracoastal Tug and Barge Company) became part of the Intra Marine Group of Lafayette, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
Originally powered by two, Caterpillar 3508 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.17:1, for a rated 1,700 horsepower.
She was later repowered with two, Tier II compliant, Cummins K38M diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG 540 reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.6:1. Turning Two, 70(in) by 55(in), fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,000 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 100kW, John Deere generator sets. The tug's capacities are 17,000 gallons of fuel, 1,087 gallons of lube oil, 100 gallons of hydraulic oil, and 10,000 gallons of potable water.
