Built in 1980, by Balehi Marine Incorporated of Lacombe, Louisiana (hull #34) as the Ellen Monteiro for the Seabreeze Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.
In 2006, the tug was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Delta Dorado.
In 2011, she was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2012, the tug went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown.
Powered by two, GM 8V71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 5:1. Turning two, 46(in) by 38(in) by 4(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 600 horsepower.
The tug's electrical service was provided by two 30kW, generator sets. Driven by two, GM 3-71 diesel engines. Her capacities were 9,000 gallons of fuel, 6,000 gallons of potable water, and 90 gallons of lube oil.
