Built in 1972, by Halter Marine Services of Lockport, Louisiana as the Buchanan 12 for Buchanan Marine of New Haven, Connecticut.
In 2005, she was re engineered with two EMD eight cylinder diesel engines at Derektor Shipyard in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She is a twin screw pushboat rated at 3,000 horsepower.
