Built in 1942, by the Harry A. Marvel and Company of Newburgh, New York (hull #227) as the Thomas A. Meseck for the Meseck Towing and Transportation Company of New York, New York.

In 1942, the tug was acquired by the United States Navy. Where she was designated as the YTB-276 (Tavibo).

In 1947, she was acquired by the Meseck Towing and Transportation Company of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the Thomas A. Meseck.

In 1954, Meseck Towing and Transportation was acquired by the Moran Towing Company of New York, New York. Where the tug was renamed as the Elizabeth Moran.

In 1955, she was acquired by the Baker Whiteley Towing Company of Baltimore, Maryland. Where she was renamed as the Britannia.

In 1980, the tug was acquired by the McAllister Brothers Towing Company of New York, New York. Where she retained her name.

The tug is no longer in documentation. Her current, and, or, final disposition is unknown. She was single screw, rated at 1,760 horsepower.
