Built in 1944, by Tampa Marine of Tampa, Florida (hull #18) as the LT-353 for the United States Army.

In 1947, the tug was acquired by McAllister Towing of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the McAllister Brothers.

She was later acquired by the Sheridan Transportation Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Where she was renamed as the Peggy Sheridan.

The tug was then acquired by Buccaneer Marine Towing of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Buccaneer I.

Her current and or final disposition is unknown.
