Built in 1944, by Tampa Marine Incorporated of Tampa, Florida (hull #18) as the LT-353 for the United States Army.

In 1947, the tug was acquired by the McAllister Brothers Towing Company of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the McAllister Brothers.

In 1948, she was acquired by the Sheridan Transportation Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Where the tug was renamed as the Peggy Sheridan.

In 1979, the tug was acquired by the Buccaneer Marine Towing Company of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Buccaneer I.

She is no longer listed in documentation. Her current, and or, final disposition is unknown. She was a single screw tug, rated at 2,160 horsepower.
