YTB-810 "ANOKA"

Built in 1970, by Peterson Builders Incorporated of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin (hull #YTB-810) as the YTB-810 (Anoka) for the United States Navy.

A Natick class district harbor tug. Her keel was laid down on October 5th, 1970, and the tug was launched on April 15th, 1971. She was delivered to the United States Navy on August 31st, 1971. And placed in service into at the 5th Naval District at Norfolk, Virginia.

On March 13th, 2001. The tug was placed out of service, and struck from the Naval Register. Where she was transferred to the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS).

In 2001, she was acquired by the McAllister Towing and Transportation Company of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the Missy McAllister.

In 2015, the tug was acquired by the Great Lakes Towing Company of Cleveland, Ohio. Where the tug was renamed as the Erie.

In 2016, she was "laid up" at Cleveland, Ohio.

In 2021, the tug was scrapped.

Powered by a single, Fairbanks Morse 10-38D 8 1/8 diesel engine. With a Western reduction gear, at a ratio of 5.95:1. Turning one, 144(in) by 122(in), four bladed, fixed pitch, stainless steel propeller. She is a single screw tug, rated at 2,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, Detroit Diesel 4-71 diesel generator sets.
