In 2007, the Smith Maritime Company was acquired by the K-Sea Transportation Partnership Incorporated of East Brunswick, New Jersey. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2011, the K-Sea Transportation Partnership Incorporated was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2021, she was acquired by McAllister Towing and Transportation of New York, New York. Where the tug was renamed as the Alicia F. McAllister.
Powered by two, Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines. With Ulstein 1650H azimuthing z-drives. She is a twin screw tug, rated 4,400 horsepower.
