Built in 1962, by Matton Shipyard of Cohoes, New York (hull #329) as the Margaret Matton for Matton Shipyard.

The shipyard was later acquired by Turecamo Maritime where the tug was renamed as the Margaret Turecamo .

In 1998, Turecamo Maritime was acquired by the Moran Towing Corporation of New York where the tug retained her name. However, she was eventually retired from service. Her current and or final disposition is unknown.

She was a single screw tug, rated at 1,600 horsepower.
