
Built in 1981, by Collins Shipyard Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana (hull #22) as the Susan Marie for the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana.
In 2020, the tug was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Berwick, Louisiana.
Powered by two, GM 16V-71 diesel engines. With a 6:1 reduction, turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers, mounted in kort nozzles. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 1,800 horsepower.
Her electrical service was provided by two, generator sets. One 40kW, and the other 30kW. The tug's capacities were 18,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 6,000 gallons of potable water.
Her towing gear consists of a single drum, anchor towing winch. Driven by a single, GM 4-71 diesel engine.
