CROSBY RUNNER

Built in 1964, by Houma Shipbuilding Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #2) as the Harvey Runner for Harvey Gulf International Marine of New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 2008, the tug was acquired by Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Crosby Runner.

In 2015, she was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Houma, Louisiana.

Powered by two, GM 12V-71 diesel engines. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 1,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service was provided by two, 20kW generator sets. The tug's capacities were 10,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 2,000 gallons of potable water.
