Built in 1981, by Terrebonne Shipbuilders Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #26) as the Miss Roseanna for the Hilton Marine Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana.
In 1997, the tug was acquired by Harvey Gulf International Marine of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the the Harvey Legend.
In 2011, she was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company. Where the tug was renamed as the Crosby Legend.
In 2020, the tug was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Houma, Louisiana.
Powered by two, GM 12V-71 diesel engines. With a 6:1 reduction, turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She was a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,000 horsepower.
Her electrical service was provided by two, 30kW generator sets. The tug's capacities were 14,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 4,000 gallons of potable water.
