Built in 1977, by Balehi Marine Incorporated of Lacombe, Louisiana (hull #8) as the Emily Bourg for the RLB Boat Company of Harvey, Louisiana.
In 2005, the tug was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Lois Marie.
In 2015, she went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown.
Powered by two, GM 8V-92 diesel engines. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat. Rated at 900 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 20kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 8,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 4,000 gallons of potable water.
