In 2021, she was acquired by Pennantia LLC. a subsidy of Contrarian Capital Management LLC. of Houston, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Susan Rose.
In 2021, the Foss Maritime Company of Seattle, Washington was contracted to manage and operate the vessel. Where she retained her name.
In 2022, Rose Cay Maritime LLC. of Houston, Texas was contracted to manage and operate the vessel. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2025, after a legal dispute between Rose Cay LLC. and Pennantia LLC. Pennantia LLC. was prohibited from operating the units under the Rose Cay Maritime LLC. trademark and was ordered to remove the Rose Cay Maritime branding from the vessels.
Powered by two, Tier IV complaint, EMD R8-710G7C-T2 diesel engines. With Reintjes GMBH WAF 1563 HL/HR reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.429:1. Turning two, bronze, Hung Shen Machinery, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 4,000 horsepower.
