Built in 1988, by Marine Inland Fabricators of Panama City, Florida (hull #100) as the Don David for Weeks Marine Incorporated of Cranford, New Jersey.

In 2024, the tug was acquired by McCluskeys Marina Incorporated of Baltimore, Maryland. Where she was renamed as the Captain Morgan.

She is a twin screw tug, rated at 520 horsepower.
