Built in 2025, by Main Iron Works, LLC of Houma, Louisiana (hull# 478) as the David North for the Ingram Barge Company of Nashville, Tennessee.

The vessel is named for the Ingram’s general manager of logistics and customer service in Louisiana.

Powered by two, Tier III complaint, Caterpiller C32 diesel engines. Turning two, 76(in) by 62(in), fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,600 horsepower.

The tug's capacities are 12,000 gallons of fuel and 4,600 gallons of potable water.
