Built in 1964, by Universal Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #51) as the Durham for Luguaris Incorporated of Morgan City, Lousiana.

In 1973, the tug was acquired by the Bethlehem Steel Corporation of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Where she retained her name.

In 2006, she was acquired by Henry Marine Services Incorporated of Henry Marine Incorporated of Staten Island, New York. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2013, the tug was acquired by Ken's Booming and Boat Services Incorporated of Bayonne, New Jersey. Where she retained her name.

She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 600 horsepower.
