In 1944, the tug was acquired by the Union Oil Company of El Segundo, California. Where she retained her name.

In 1951, she was acquired by the Russell Brothers Towing Company (Newtown Creek Towing Company) of New York, New York. Where the tug was renamed as the Russell 2.

In 1960, the tug was acquired by Grace D. Myers and Lawrence B. Raskin of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the West Wind.

In 1961, she was acquired by RDM Marine Incorporated of Brooklyn, New York. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1965, the tug was acquired by Toth Motorships Incorporated of Toledo, Ohio. Where she retained her name.

In 1968, she was acquired by an Lorraine Krispin of Algonac, Michigan. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1970, the tug was acquired by James Mazurek of Mount Clemens, Michigan. Where she retained her name.

She was later acquired by the A.J. Brothers Marine Construction Company of Williamsville, New York. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2001, she was acquired by the Buffalo Industrial Diving Company of Buffalo, New York. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by Man O’ Trees Incorporated of Buffalo, New York. Where she retained her name.

In 2016, she was acquired by by Dean Marine and Excavating Incorporated of Mount Clemens, Michigan. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by a single, Detroit 12V-71 diesel engine. She is a single screw tug, rated at 500 horsepower.
