
Built in 1970, by Halter Marine Services Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana (hull #261) as the Laura Rosa for Venezuelan interests.
The tug was later reflagged to Panama and renamed as the Coloso II. In 1987, the tug was arrested by United States law enforcement authorities for drug smuggling.
In 1990, the tug was acquired by the American Navigation Company of San Francisco, California. Where the tug was renamed as the Titan.
In 2005, the tug was acquired by Spyglass Maritime Limited of Panama. Where the tug was reflagged to Panama and renamed as the Seahorse.
In 2013, the tug was acquired by the Oil Trading Corporation of Buenaventura, Colombia. Where the tug was reflagged to Colombia and retained its name.
In 2015, the tug was renamed as the Bocas del San Juan.
