Built in 2021, by C and C Marine and Repair Company of Belle Chasse, Louisiana (hull #313) as the Erin M. Brooks for Maritime Partners, LLC of Metairie, Louisiana.

The tug was designed by Entech Design, based in Kenner, Louisiana.

In 2022, the tug was chartered by the Wood Towing Company of Avondale, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2023, the tug was acquired by the Centerline Logistics Corporation of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug was renamed as the Mount Hood.

Powered by two, Tier III compliant, Cummins QSK38-M1 diesel engines. With Reintjes WAF 665 reduction gears. At a ratio of 5.95:1. Turning two, 82(in) by 67(in), four bladed, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat rated at 2,600 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, Cummins QSB7-DM, 99kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 28,200 gallons of fuel, 6,600 gallons of potable water.

The vessel's towing equipment consists of two Patterson 40-ton winches mounted on the bow.
