BUSTER BOUCHARD

Built in 1979, by VT Halter Marine Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana (hull #784) as the tug Buster B. for the Bouchard Transportation Company of Mellville, New York.

In 1981, the Bouchard Transportation Company renamed the tug, as the Buster Bouchard.

In 1999, the tug was outfitted with an INTERcon coupler system. Although the tug was fitted with a coupler system. Her towing equipment was retained to allow for traditional towing.

In 2020, the tug was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Tampa, Florida.

In 2021, she was acquired by JMB Shipping Operations of Los Angeles, California. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2021, the Centerline Logistics Corporation of Seattle, Washington was contracted to manage and operate the unit. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, EMD 16-645E diesel engines. Turning two bronze, fixed pitch, propellers. She is a twin screw tug rated at 6,140 horsepower.

The tug's electrical service is provided by three 99kW generator sets. Her capacities are 162,202 gallons of fuel.
