Built in 1975, by United Shipbuilding and Repair Incorporated of Port Arthur, Texas as the the Frances Twitty for the Consolidated Towing Company of Mobile, Alabama.

In 1979, the tug was acquired by Radcliff Marine Services Incorporated of Fairhope, Alabama. Where she was renamed as the Anne Blake. Where she was operated by the Tenn-Tom Towing Company of Mobile, Alabama.

In 2005, she was acquired by the Martin Midstream Partnership Incorporated of Vidor, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2015, the tug was acquired by La Carriers Transportation Services Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Trey Paul.

Powered by three, Cummins KTA19-M3 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 5:1. Turning three, 64(in) by 46(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,200 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW, generator sets. The tug's capacities are 16,000 gallons of fuel, 200 gallons of lube oil, 200 gallons of gear oil, 800 gallons of slop oil, and 7,500 gallons of potable water.
