Built in 2016, by VT Halter Marine Incorporated of Pascagoula, Mississippi (hull #2025) as the Frederick E. Bouchard for the Bouchard Transportation Company of Melville, New York.

In 2020, the tug was placed out of active service and was "laid up" at Staten Island, New York.

In 2021, she was acquired by JMB Shipping Operations of Los Angeles, California. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2021, the Centerline Logistics Corporation of Seattle, Washington was contracted to manage and operate the unit. Where the tug was renamed as the Fendi D.

The tug is fitted with an INTERcon coupler system. She is powered by two, Tier III complaint, EMD R16-645-F7B diesel engines. With Reintjes GMBH WAF 3455 reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.48:1. Turning two, Bollinger Aquamet 17, stainless steel, fixed pitch, propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 6,140 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by three, 99kW Baybren M60HAC-006 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 150,000 gallons of fuel, 804 gallons of hydraulic oil, 7,990 gallons of lube oil, and 84,000 gallons of potable water.
