Built in 1956, by Goudy and Stevens Incorporated of East Boothbay, Maine as the Murray for Chelsea Fuel Company Incorporated of East Boston, Massachusetts.
In 1985, the Chelsea Fuel Company was merged with Boston Towing and Transportation Company of East Boston, Massachusetts (a subsidiary of the Reinauer Transportation Company of Staten Island, New York.) Where the tug retained her name.
In 2011, the tug was acquired by Chelsea Fuel Transportation of Gloucester, Massachusetts. Where she retained her name.
Powered by a single, 6-71 GM engine. Turning a single, cast steel, fixed pitch propeller. She is a single screw tug, rated at 225 horsepower.
