Built in 1979, by Hebert Iron Works Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana as the Mr. Earl for the C and B Boat Company Incorporated of Des Allemands, Louisiana.

In 1995, the tug was acquired by G and R Tugs Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Mr. Derrick.

In 1998, the tug was sold and was renamed as the Steel Eagle.

In 2005, she was acquired by Marine Technologies Incorporated of Baltimore, Maryland. Where she was renamed as the Jezebel.

In 2022, the tug was acquired by Ballard Marine Construction of Washougal, Washington. Where she retained her name.

Powered by two, Caterpillar C18 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG-514 reduction gears. Turning two, 52(in) by 44(in), bronze, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,200 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 46kW, Magnaplus generators. Driven by two, John Deere diesel engines.
