Built in 2020, by Nichols Brothers Boat Builders, of Freeland, Washington (hull #S191) as the Jamie Ann for the Foss Maritime Company of Seattle, Washington.
Designed by the Seattle, Washington based, Naval Architecture firm Jensen Maritime Consultants. The tug is named for Jamie Ann Goldberg, the daughter of the Saltchuk Corporation co-founder Fred Goldberg. She was the first ASD-90 Class tug, delivered to the Salchuk Marine family of companies
Powered by two, Tier IV compliant MTU 16v4000M65L diesel engines. With Rolls Royce US255 z-drives, outfitted with two, four bladed, 110.24(in), fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated 6,866 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, Tier III complaint, 120kW, John Deere 6068AFM85 generator sets. With one, auxiliary, Tier III compliant, 65kW, John Deere 4045 generator set.
The tug's capacities are 72,500 gallons of fuel, 1,050 gallons of water, 1,720 gallons of lube oil, and 5,777 gallons of sewage.
The towing equipment consists of a Markey DEPCF-52R winch with 750(ft) of 10(in) synthetic line on the bow. And a Markey double drum TESD-34AS winch with 2,600(ft) of 2.25(in) wire on the stern.
