Built in 1995, by Marco Shipbuilding Incorporated of Seattle, Washington (hull #472) as the Gyrfalcon for Harley Marine Services Incorporated of Seattle, Washington.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines. With two, Ulstein 1650H z-drives, at a ratio of 5.5:1. Turning two, 86(in) propellers. She is a twin screw tractor tug, rated at 4,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 105kW Caterpillar 3304 BT generator sets. The tug's capacities are 73,000 gallons of fuel, 8,000 gallons of water, 1,400 gallons of lube oil, and 1,400 gallons of hydraulic oil.

The towing equipment consists of a single drum, Nordic 72-50TW-24, hydraulic, towing winch. Outfitted with 2,400(ft) of 2(in) of towing wire. As well as a 1,400(lb) Anchor winch, with hydraulic tow pins, and a stern roller.
