INNOVATION
Built in 2010, by VT Halter Marine of Pascagoula, Mississippi (hull #1983) as the ATB Innovation for Crowley Marine Services of Jacksonville, Florida.
She was the seventh Resolve / 650 class ATB built for Crowley Marine.
Fitted with an INTERcon coupler system, with 50(in) diameter pins. The tug is powered by two Wartsila 12V26A diesel engines, her engines are HFO compatible. Which have the ability to operate on both light fuels and Heavy Fuel Oil. In order to comply with near coast operations and port of entry regulations. The engines are also electronically controlled for a rated 9,280 horsepower.
