SAG WIND
Pictured as: the Sag River (Crowley Marine) Photo by: Capt. David Ospenson

Built in 1975, by Colberg Boat Works Incorporated of Stockton, California (hull #75-1) as the Sag River for Crowley Marine Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California.

The tug was designed to run in 3.5 (ft) of water. Because the tug had such a shallow draft and where relatively small. When the seas began to freeze, the company lifted them out of the water, and set them on the bank.

In 2019, the tug was acquired by the Cook Inlet Tug and Barge Company of Anchorage, Alaska. A subsidy of Foss Marine Holdings of Seattle, Washington. Where she was renamed as the Sag Wind.

She is a triple screw towboat, rated at 1,095 horsepower.
