Built in 1968, by Robert M. Boyham and Sons of Violet, Louisiana (hull #1) as the Mustang .

The tug was later acquired by Eastern Shore Marine of St. Michael's, Maryland where she retained her name.

She was later sold and renamed as the Rusty Venture and then as the O'Brian .

The tug was then acquired by Gellatly Petroleum and Towing Corporation of Hopewell Junction, New York where she was renamed as the Peter F. Gellatly .

She was eventually acquired by Back River Towing of Norfolk, Virginia where she was renamed as the Sandy Point .

Her current and or final disposition is unclear.

The tug is rated at 900 horsepower.
