
Built in 1998, by Portier Shipyard Incorporated of Chauvin Louisiana (hull #131) as the Katie P. Cheramie for A.T. Cheramie Incorporated of New Orelans, Louisiana.
In 2007, the tug was acquired by the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Miss Katie.
In 2009, the Marquette Transportation Company renamed the tug as the Miss Becky.
Powered by three, Cummins KTA-19 M3 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG 520 reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:1. Turning three, 72(in) by 76(in), stainless steel propellers, mounted in kort nozzles. She is a triple screw tug, rated at 2,000 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW, Cummins generator sets. The tug's capacities are 30,000 gallons of fuel, 220 gallons of lube oil, and 8,000 gallons of potable water.
The towing equipment consists of a double drum, SMATCO 48, waterfall, towing winch. Outfitted with 1800(ft) of 1.5(in) towing wire.
