Built in 1976, by the Pacific Towboat and Salvage Company of Long Beach, California (hull #32) as the Avenger for the Pacific Towboat and Salvage Company of Long Beach, California.

The Pacific Towboat and Salvage Company operated as a division of the Dillingham Corporation of Seattle, Washington.

In 1986, as part of a restructuring. Along with all other Dillingham maritime transportation operations, the company was transferred under the Foss Maritime Company of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1987, the Foss Maritime Company, and its subsidiaries were acquired by Saltchuk Resources Incorporated of Seattle, Washington. Where she retained her name.

In 2004, the tug was acquired by the American Navigation Company of San Francisco, California. Where she was renamed as the Pacific Mariner.

In 2005, the American Navigation Company was acquired by the Foss Maritime Company of Seattle, Washington. The company became AmNAV Maritime Services of Oakland, California. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2007, she was acquired by Harley Marine Services Incorporated of Seattle, Washington. Where she was renamed as the Olympic Scout.

In 2019, Harley Marine Services Incorporated became the Centerline Logistics Corporation of Seattle, Washington. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 399 diesel engines. With Caterpillar 7261 reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.22:1. Turning two, two 84(in) by 60(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 2,250 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 75kW/208V generator sets. Driven by two, John Deere 4048 diesel engines. With a third auxiliary 75kW/208V generator set. Driven by a Detroit Diesel 4-71 HPU diesel engine. The tug's capacities are 75,000 gallons of fuel, 5,000 gallons of water, 1,200 gallons of lube oil.

The towing gear consists of an Almon Johnson, double drum, towing winch. Outfitted with 2,100(ft) of 2(in) towing wire.
