Founded in 1972, by Bill T. Dutra the Dutra Construction Company Incorporated is based Rio Vista, California. With over one hundred years in the marine construction industry. The Dutra Group entered the marine construction market with sidedraft clamshell dredging.

Antone Dutra, grandfather of the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Bill T. Dutra. Established the roots the Dutra companies’ association with the construction and maintenance of the California Delta levee system in 1904.

In the years following the establishment of the company. The Dutra Construction Company expanded to include a dredging and materials division. Incorporating multiple locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, and servicing clients nationally.
